With its cast of bloated boasters and anecdotalists, I thought this novel might turn out a static disaster, a mass of stiff pontifications, a name-dropping yawn, but I am happy to report I was wrong. What makes McNeff’s swagger performance so creditable is that he understands something of the depths that generate the surface bubbles. Hence, when Thomas talks of poetry, he makes reasonable points based on his own credo and verse experiments...

Glad to see you've got a website up and running. Took you a while to surface.
I remember proof reading a 1st draft of the Dolphin Rider
Old Black Lion now a dump - I know as I checked it out about 15 years back
"Sybarite" will be on my Xmas list.
I've still got an original IT with the article somewhere if you ever need it.
All the best

Dear Richard,
I am researching the life of a little known poet and aristocrat, Evan, Lord Tredegar (1893-1949) who was a friend of Aleister Crowley for many years.
I have stumbled upon all sorts of intriguing leads regarding Tredegar and the secret service and occult organisations. Would very much like your opinion, if you have time to drop me an email.
Very interesting site,
Regards
